The E80W Grind-by-Sync is a significant evolution of the E80S Grind-by-Weight, showcasing remarkable new features and delivering the ultimate innovation in efficient workflows and consistent coffee quality.

Equipped with cloud-enabled connectivity, the E80W Grind-by-Sync offers an electrical adjustment of the burr distance. This adjustment can still be precisely controlled manually by the barista or, when synchronized with a La Marzocco machine, it automatically aligns with the target extraction time. The E80W Grind-by-Sync incorporates an intelligent algorithm, enhancing its ability to manage burr distance with precision, ensuring the perfect extraction every time.

Through wireless synchronization via the Mahlkönig Sync and La Marzocco Pro apps, the E80W Grind-by-Sync espresso grinder pairs with a La Marzocco machine to exchange data through cloud-enabled technology, adjusting the grind size automatically.

Mahlkönig Sync is a digital solution serving as a comprehensive hub for gathering and analyzing data across the coffee preparation process. From equipment usage and consumption patterns to predictive and preventative grinder maintenance insights – owners, managers, and roasters can make informed decisions about their business.

The mobile app allows for easy pairing of the grinder to the machine for synchronized grind-brew events and shows the relevant statistics. The desktop app enables access to grinder-specific and aggregated operational data and consumption trends through a reporting dashboard. Managers can define and control coffee recipes per grinder with an automatic rollout of updated recipes. Both apps allow for remote and local data access.

The Mahlkönig Sync app is free of charge and will be available to download on iOS and Android in early 2024.
