Key Features
Dual-Head Design: Features a coffee distributor/leveler (often with angled blades) on one side and a flat tamper base on the reverse side.
Size Fit: The 53mm base is specifically precision-engineered to fit snugly inside tapered 54mm portafilter baskets without catching the edges.
Adjustable Depth: Both sides feature screw-threading or adjustable rings so you can change how deep the tool reaches into the basket to match your coffee dose.
Machine Compatibility: Built to work with popular 54mm home espresso machines like the compatible Breville and Sage lines (Barista Express, Pro, Touch, Bambino Plus, Infuser).
How It Works
Distribute: Fill your portafilter with ground coffee. Place the angled-blade distributor side down and spin it gently to evenly spread and level the loose grounds.
Tamp: Flip the tool over to the flat tamper base side. Press down to compress the bed of coffee to a uniform depth and density, preventing water channeling during extraction.
